How to use joytokey with fightstick code#
I'll try to take a look at the code myself but, I'm really only used to adding plunger and DMD support. My only issue now is that since I'm able to score much higher now I noticed that the high scores are put in hierarchy based on the first few numbers, my hundreds of thousands are ranked lower than my tens of thousands. I have a USB Saturn Retroline that works great or I might pick up a USB NES knock off.
I also found out that the single button joystick I picked up that mimics an Atari 2600 one stinks on ice. If you do have a Pinball Wizard, you will still have nudge control. I know in FP there is a toggle for this under the controller settings (please no program wars ), just wondering how I might bump it out of VP.įigured it out, in order for the Joystick/Gamepad that is recognized by Windows "Game Controllers" to not act like a test Roller inside of baby Pac-Man you need to disable PBW Accelerometer inside of Physics.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to disable the test roller in Visual Pinball. If you have a USB joystick or USB Gamepad, you can try this as well (just start by pressing up and see the ball roll to the top). I can go into any table and move the ball around like a fighter pilot and rack up enormous scores. Right, I have no trouble moving the character, I do use JoyToKey, it's the joystick itself that will act like a roller. I thought this was set up using keycodes? Mine are mapped to my flipper buttons (never tried with a joystick) but can't you use something like key2joy or xpadder to assign the joysticks to keys?Īlso, anyone got a backglass of this? After I put one of the real DMD screens in, I moved the Maze to my backglass, would love to have it look closer to the actual game with the marquee that goes around the videogame. Is there a way to not have the joystick act as a test roller in Visual Pinball? Thanks!
How to use joytokey with fightstick software#
I know my X-Arcade acts only as a keyboard but, I'm not going to schlep out my Dual Tanksticks for Baby Pac and once again, it's near impossible to Google "joystick that acts as keyboard or only send keystrokes" because it'll only return keystroke emulation software for your joystick. I've searched the registry, in game options, ini & VBS files as well as near impossible Google searches and can't find a way to disable roller inside of Visual Pinball 9. Even if I disable all keystroke emulation, the joystick itself will act as a test roller (as it's referred to in FP). My issue is that since the joystick is recognized by Windows XP as a GamePad is is acting like a Test Roller inside all the Visual Pinball Tables so as Pac runs the maze, the ball in the cabinet is knocking around in the upper U. My key mappings work fine and controls Baby-Pac with no problem. I finally picked up a small USB joystick, Atari 2600 Style so I didn't have to use the keyboard. 1st, I love the look and play of this game and how you chose to do the layout.

I use a usb arcade stick for the game along with joytokey to map the buttons, but the readme will allow you to map the buttons as you desire. By default the joystick is set to the arrow keys. I have included in the table zip a readme and keycode document that explains how to set up the joystic to your cabinet setup. I have a vectorized backglass for those that are interested. This is mainly for FS cabinet users with 2 monitors as the video dmd screen is fairly large.

The script is written from scratch but the light numbers were based on steve ellenoff's lighting as the manual was not clear on the lamp numbers. I'd like to thank terry for the vectorized backglass and plastic scans, billpa for the plastics redraw and el_timbo for finding the control panel image and pf.
